Hey, I’m Ash — also known as ALTR 👋
For over two decades, I’ve been a pro DJ, lighting and AV engineer — immersed in live events, theatre, TV, and music culture.
But God showed me that what everyone’s really hungry for,
isn’t hype — it’s hope.
ALTR is the overflow of that journey, and now,
I’m telling the one story that matters most.
I’m using what He’s given me to create spaces where
people can meet God.
ALTR is all about building an atmosphere for encounter,
an alternative form of worship — a space that churches, youth groups, and communities can use to invite people in, and to reach those who might never connect through traditional means.
It’s not about replacing church — it’s about opening another door.
A fresh sound. A different atmosphere.
The same Jesus.
“ALTR” is a play on “altar”
the sacred place where God’s people
met with Him throughout Scripture.
ALTR is about creating moments where
heaven can break through the noise.
It’s not about hype. It’s about encounter.
The vision’s simple:
To use music, media, and creativity to carry the message of Jesus
into every space that will have it.
